Delaney Gibb joins world's best at Nike Hoop Summitt

Alberta’s Delaney Gibb recently joined some of the planet’s top young basketball players at the 2024 Nike Hoop Summitt in Portland, Ore.

The annual showcase features America’s top high school seniors taking on the best players from around the world who are 19 years old or younger. The men’s and women’s games took place at the Moda Center on April 13.

A Grade 12 student at Raymond High School, Gibb was one of five Canadians who participated in this year’s Nike Hoops Summitt.

Gibb, who hails from Raymond, suited up for Team Alberta at the 2019 Basketball Canada 15U National Championships, and at the 2022 Canada Summer Games.
