Youth Provincials 2026 set to tip off in Calgary

The 2026 edition of Alberta Basketball Association (ABA) Youth Provincials is tipping off in Calgary. Competition runs Friday (March 6) through Sunday March 8) at sites across the city and metropolitan area. Click here to view the full schedule.

More than 170 teams from around the province are participating in the annual tournament, which will see nearly 270 games played in a span of 54 hours. Medals will be awarded in 27 divisions, comprising the U11, U13, U15 and U18 age groups for boys and girls.

Youth Provincials is the biggest yearly grassroots hoops gathering in the province. Past participants include some of Alberta’s most accomplished athletes, such as Calgary’s own Yvonne Ejim, a 2024 Olympian and 2025 WNBA Draft selection.
