Team Canada returns home next month as the Edmonton EXPO Centre’s Hall D Arena will host Canada’s FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Americas Tournament from November 14-17.

Tickets to cheer on Team Canada start at just $15 and will go on sale to the public on Monday, October 28th at 10:00 AM MT and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster at  Day pass tickets grant fans access to both games of the double-header.

Canada will face Cuba (November 14 7:30 PM MT), Puerto Rico (November 16 5:00 PM MT) and Dominican Republic (November 17 4:00 PM MT).  Click here for the full tournament schedule.

Canada qualified for the FIBA Women's Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament last month following a second-place finish at the FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2019.

The newly developed Olympic pre-qualification tournaments will tip-off in November 2019 to qualify teams to the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2020, and ultimately the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Canada will need to finish in the top two in their group to advance to the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2020 in February next year.

As the home of the Senior Women’s National Team, the City of Edmonton regularly hosts the team for training camp and competition, including the 2015 FIBA Americas Women's Championship where Team Canada won gold and qualified for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
