2023 Arctic Winter Games - Boys

I have been coaching basketball for approximately two decades; my primary focus has been on high school senior boys basketball, but I have worked with girls and boys programs ranging from junior to senior high. I have been the president and head coach of the Peace River Warriors Basketball club basketball program since 2014, which has 175 participants each year. I recently served as an apprentice coach for the Alberta 18U Mens team that competed in this year’s Canada Summer Games. In terms of certification, I have recently completed my training for the NCCP & Train to Compete program. I also provide a unique perspective that I can incorporate into my coaching as an ABOA official.
As a player, a parent, a spectator, the founder of a club, an official, and a coach, I have seen the game
through many different lenses. Each of these offers me unique learning experiences that enable me to
be the coach and person I am today.
