Take part in the Jr. NBA Virtual Leadership Summitt

Alberta Basketball is proud to have the Jr. NBA Program in our province. On Friday, May 15th an outstanding group of NBA leaders, coaches and players will come together to bring a great message about the importance of youth basketball and the need for strong leaders to drive it forward. We encourage youth coaches, leaders in the basketball community and anyone who is interested to tune in and be a part of this conference.

This year’s lineup will feature opening remarks by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver followed by a series of conversations, audience Q&As and panel discussions, including a one-on-one conversation between Stephen Curry and Doris Burke. Additional panels will feature Dr. Vivek Murthy, USA Basketball Chairman and Jr. NBA Leadership Council Chairman Retired General Martin E. Dempsey, and a coaches round table featuring Rick Carlisle, Dawn Staley and Doc Rivers.

The conference will take place virtually for the first time on May 15th from 10:00am-12:45pm ALBERTA TIME.

It will be live streamed on the NBA app, NBA.com, Jr. NBA.com, and across the NBA and Jr. NBA’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts.
