A very special edition of The Basketball Show on March 21

Mar. 19, 2020

Given current events and their impact on the world of basketball, The Basketball Show will be going on a temporary hiatus.

But first, The Basketball Show will feature a star-studded lineup celebrating some great moments and sharing our love for the game.

Tune in live on TSN 1260 AM in Edmonton or listen online here from 10am - noon Mountain Time on Saturday, March 21, when host Paul Sir is joined by March Madness legends Homer Drew and Tyus Edney, Canadian university championship-winning and senior women’s national team coach Lisa Thomaidis, and the Edmonton Stingers very own Jermaine Small.

If you’re missing the NCAA Tournament, don’t miss this chance to relive two of the most famous moments in its history. This is the 25th anniversary of UCLA’s 1995 championship team, immortalized by Tyus Edney’s incredible coast-to-coast game winning shot against Missouri. Homer Drew will forever be remembered for coaching the Valparaiso Crusaders to a stunning upset of Ole Miss in 1998 when his son Bryce hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer.

Thank you to all listeners for supporting The Basketball Show. Please be sure to tune in for this very special broadcast.
