Canada Basketball West ID Camp coming to Calgary

WESTERN CANADA ID CAMP

The Alberta Basketball Association (ABA), in partnership with the Edge School for Athletes and the University of Calgary, will host the Western Canada Open ID and Assessment Camps in Calgary from Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3.

Canada Basketball Men’s and Women’s High Performance Staff will be on-site during the camp to identify athletes for national programs. The camp is for Girls in 2003-2005 and for Boys in 2002-2004.

 

BOYS

  • Open ID Session on Saturday, November 2, ahead of the inaugural Boys Assessment Camp on Saturday afternoon which will feature athletes invited from the Open ID Camp. 
  • Saturday’s session will begin with on-site registration for all athletes beginning at 8:00am at the University of Calgary
  • Canada Basketball’s Mike Meeks, Manager, Youth Player Development, Men will be at the Boys Camp.

GIRLS

  • ABA is excited to announce that there will be an Open ID Session on Friday, November 1, ahead of the inaugural Girls Assessment Camp on Saturday which will feature athletes invited from the Open ID Camp. 
  • Friday’s session will begin with on-site registration for all athletes beginning at 4:00pm at the University of Calgary. 
  • Canada Basketball’s Mike MacKay, Performance Manager, Women’s High Performance, will be present at the Girls Camp.
