Rosters announced for All-Star Showcase 2019
Players have been announced for the 2019 Alberta Basketball All-Star Showcase, scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, at Harry Ainlay High School (4350 111 Street NW).
More than 20 Metro Edmonton high schools will be represented at the third annual event, which gets underway with the girls all-star game at 5:30 p.m. and continues with the boys’ all-star game at 7:30.

Over a third of the 24 boys and 24 girls selected have played for Team Alberta at events such as the Canada Basketball championships and Canada Summer Games.
The All-Star Showcase culminates a fantastic season of local high school basketball, which saw Edmonton sweep the 4A provincial championships, with Jasper Place capturing the boys gold medal, and St. Albert taking the girls title.
As part of the festivities, a girls’ three-point contest and boys’ slam-dunk competition will be held at halftime of the respective games.
