Alberta Basketball 3x3

June 2-3, Saville Community Sports Centre

  • Largest and longest-running (eight years) FIBA-endorsed 3x3 tournament in Canada
  • Nearly 70 teams in nine divisions, ranging from 11-under to adult
  • Canada Quest elite division features $2,500 in prize money. Teams coming from across the Prairies and include former All-Canadian and Canada West All-Star athletes
  • Canada Quest division champ to earn automatic berth in Canada Quest National Finals and FIBA Edmonton Challenger. Runner-up also receives National Finals berth
  • Also features the Jr. NBA World Championship West Regional Finals for boys and girls, with Alberta playing B.C. for spots in the Canada Regional Final

 

Canada Quest National Finals

July 6-8, Saville Community Sports Centre

  • Eight teams, including Canada Quest elite division champs from events taking place throughout May and June in Kelowna and Richmond, B.C., Edmonton, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Montreal
  • Top two teams qualify directly to FIBA World Tour 3x3 Masters in Saskatoon, July 20-22

 

FIBA Edmonton Challenger

September 21-23, West Edmonton Mall (Ice Palace)

  • First ever FIBA Challenger event to be held in North America
  • Sixteen elite-level teams from around the world, including Canada’s own Team Saskatoon with Edmonton native Steve Sir, will compete for prize money and FIBA ranking points.
  • Winner qualifies directly to World Tour Masters event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Oct .13-14.
  • Festival will include music, entertainment, kids activities and much more
