Details announced for 2018 All-Star Showcase!

The 2018 Alberta Basketball Association All-Star Showcase powered by The Basketball Show tips off at Harry Ainlay high school on Wednesday, April 11.

A celebration of the top high school players from Edmonton and area, the second annual event features the girls all-star game at 5:30 p.m. followed at 7:30 p.m by the boys all-star game.

Last year’s inaugural All-Star Showcase was an overwhelming success, with fans packing the gym to witness an evening of highly competitive and entertaining basketball. Adding to the excitement is the new girls three-point contest and boys slam contest, taking place at halftime of the respective games.

Staff from the 2018 Metro Edmonton Division 1 finalists will coach the teams. Rosters will be unveiled March 31 on The Basketball Show, which airs live every Saturday 10am - noon on TSN 1260 radio.

The All-Star Showcase will be streamed live on YouTube, with the voice of University of Alberta basketball, Marc Majeau, on the broadcast.
